A born-and-raised New Yorker, we trust co-founder Sasha Martin for the inside scoop on all things good in Carnegie Hill and beyond.

The Place: Bar Florine
A natural wine bar I love that's two blocks away from me, I recently went there for a tarot reading and tried a nice, bright white wine from Turkey.
The Look:
I love to pair The Persephone Dress with an easy sandal and my favorite vintage denim jacket.
The Place: The East Meadow
I love dinner (and cocktails, shhh) on a blanket in the East Meadow once the daylight lingers past 7 pm. If you’re over Butterfield’s lines, Yura on Madison has the most delicious prepared foods (don’t miss the mini ham and cheese baguette), pastries, coffee, and they even do made-to-order meals that you can call in for pick up the very same day. If sweating over a stove isn’t ever your thing, consider their family-style catering options my early holiday gift to you!
The Look:
Nothing better than a chic, breathable linen set for a summer spent out and about. Pair The Bennie Shorts and Relaxed Shirt with a solid sneak and fun jewels.
The Place: Jazz Night at Bar 91
Eli Zabar is an uptown institution and his Bar '91 location is one of my favorite neighborhood vibes. They have live jazz on Friday evenings, which moves outside into the street during the warmer months of the year. I take the kids to Glace next door to pick up ice cream and then watch the show with the rest of the dinner crowd on the sidewalk. It's the quintessential multi-generational New York street party.
The Look:
This cobalt blue plaid we did for summer is killer. Best paired with a statement earring and raffia platform, of course!
