Postcards from Katie
Cara Cara co-founder Katie Hobbs' most recent escape to the coast of Spain has us dreaming of seaside towns, woven bags, and the laidback looks to match. Below, @hobkat details a few of the highlights...
Menorca Experimental: an agriturismo hotel housed in a 19th-century finca in the Menorcan countryside.
We had a beautiful al fresco dinner here and also shopped their local ceramics and jewelry at the hotel boutique!
Finca Los Enamorados: We rented this bohemian dream finca on the north end of Ibiza from the owners of Los Enamorados. The saltwater pool was surrounded by pomegranite trees and potted catci - every now and then we had to shoo off a peacock.
Dinner at Santa Ponsa in Menorca
The Picasso Museum: We spent a few days in Barcelona to drag the kids to museums and cultural experiences after two weeks of beaching it. I particularly loved the Cote d'Azur series Picasso did of his Cannes balcony in his later years...
Torre Vella: we stayed at this beautiful 17-room boutique farmscape hotel. The room had an enchanting patio overlooking the wheat fields and a little plunge pool. In the evenings you can hike about 20 minutes to a cliff overlooking the ocean where you can watch the sunset and sip local wines.
