Amagansett Square is right down the street from me, so it marks the beginning and end of every dog walk. The Friday farmers market and summer movie nights make it feel like the true center of town, plus the shop owners always have a treat for my pup.
Doubles is one of my favorite lunch spots in Amagansett, especially for the outdoor picnic tables where I always seem to run into friends and neighbors. My go-to is the Freddie Bowl, the kids never stray from their smash burgers, and we always make the obligatory stop at the Van Leuwen ice cream window on the way out.
Dinner at Il Buco Mare is a summer must. We always order a bunch of mixed dishes to share, and with the walls open to Main Street by the bar, it feels like the whole town's twinkling-lights gathering spot.
Il Buco Vita is my go-to for unique gifts, especially the Antonello Radis ceramics, and the dreamiest tableware and linens imported from Italy. They also serve fantastic coffee and fresh bomboloni made to order, with fillings like chocolate and jam.
Jamagansett used to sell their jams at the farmers market, but this summer they opened their own shop in town, and my entire family is obsessed with their pop tarts.
