Kensey Adair's Guide to the Holy City

Kensey Adair's style is inspiring and her smile is infectious! The color enthusiast, stylist, and mom brought us along for her dream day in Charleston and it's just as bright and fabulous as she is, of course!

Welton's Tiny Bakeshop

One of my favorite morning stops is Welton's Tiny Bake Shop, where the menu changes daily and there's always something new to discover.

I never miss the cannelés and usually leave with a savory pastry in hand before taking a leisurely stroll through Hampton Park, one of my favorite places in the city to slow down and enjoy the season.

Elizabeth Stuart

For gifts, gardening treasures, and unique finds, Elizabeth Stuart is always my first stop. I love picking up a beautiful glass dish paired with artisan soaps, a honey pot, or a small plant—thoughtful little treasures that make the perfect hostess gift.

Geechie Seafood

When I am cooking at home, I love stopping by Geechie Seafood for locally caught shrimp. It's my favorite place to pick up fresh seafood for Naptime Kitchen's lemon basil pasta—a simple recipe I find myself making on repeat all summer long.

Sorelle

For date night, Sorelle is always a favorite, serving delicious Italian cuisine with a modern twist in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city. One of the things I love most about Charleston is the incredible community of chefs who continue to make the city such a special place to dine. Post HouseChez NousMalagónChubby Fish, and Lowland are a few of my favorites, each showcasing the flavors of the Lowcountry through local produce, fresh seafood, and oysters pulled from nearby waters.

Sullivan's Island Fish Camp

Sullivan's Island Fish Camp holds a special place in our family's heart. It's where we gather for birthdays, milestones, and celebrations of all kinds. Their recent renovation and new chef have made an already beloved spot feel even more special.

Scenic Stroll

More than anything, I love getting lost on Charleston's side streets, discovering a tucked-away garden or historic detail I've somehow missed before. For first-time visitors, I always recommend booking a tour with Walk + Talk Charleston. It's one of the best ways to experience the city's history, charm, and hidden corners through the eyes of a local.
