ASD's Guide to PB

We tapped Palm Beach resident and fashionable foodie, @alexandrasistodaniel, to discuss her five favorite spots in the sun-soaked city...

1. The Best in Breakfast

Blue Provence will make you forget that you're 4500 miles away from Paris because their croissants & palmiers are as good as it gets. They are fresh & hot every morning and by far my favorite breakfast treat! As for caffeine, the best matcha on the island is at Celis at the Royal - and their avocado toast with fresh mozzarella & pesto is a healthy delight.

2. Lovely Lunches...

I am a sandwich/wrap girl at heart so for lunch I love picking up the caesar wrap from Piccolo Mondo (it's a tiny window service connected to Renatos in Via Mizer) or the beef carpaccio sandwich from Buccan Sandwich Shop. I love taking them back to my mom's house and eating by the pool or on the beach! For a leisurely lunch it's always Bilboquet for the gazpacho (there's no soup like it) and the cajun chicken with an extra side of beurre blanc.

3. Cool Cocktails

For an appetizer and a drink (whether it's a cocktail or a coca-cola) - Swifty's at The Colony. The chips & guacamole are to share, but they're so incredibly delicious that there's no judgement if you order just for yourself. They fry the chips to puffy perfection and then drizzle with agavethey are beyond.

4. Dining Delight

For dinner, it's Imoto or Palm Beach Grill. Imoto has the best intimate vibes (feels a little like the city when you're in there) & everything on the menu is delicious. Go tos are hamachi crispy rice, house salad, galbi beef & speciality nigiri (pro tip also order the sweet corn agnolotti from Buccan next door). The PB grill is a staple and reminds me of being little and going to dinner with my grandparents! I love the wedge salad, the oysters Rockefeller & the Florida red snapper.
