Like Alice in Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass, leaving the doldrums of winter for a balmy holiday can feel like diving through a mirror into a fantastical world of opposites. The florals seem more vivid, the fauna intensely lush, and the distant pleasures of summer flood back into our minds in an exhilarating rush.
For its third Resort collection, Cara Cara channeled this dream of escapism and the other-worldly sensation of arriving to a sun-soaked wonderland. Dancing peacocks, psychedelic sunbursts and climbing floral prints tap into our senses, as do fresh silhouettes that celebrate the fleeting freedom of being on holiday. Shot at the magical Vizcaya Gardens in Coral Gables, the location itself provided a natural high for our Alice's adventure.
